CPAP Machines

There are two principal categories of CPAP Machines to treat obstructive sleep apnea: Auto and Fixed/Continuous Pressure

Auto therapy devices sense your needs and provide variable pressures throughout the night.  This feature can help to make the therapy more comfortable during the night.

Fixed or Continuous Pressure devices deliver one constant positive airway pressure throughout the night.  Some CPAP machines have features that slightly alter pressures during the cycle of inhalation and exhalation to make breathing with the machine more comfortable.
