Often the sufferer is unaware they have the condition, however suffer from symptoms such as daytime sleepiness and fatigue due to getting a disturbed night's sleep.

Sleep Apnea is a condition that is diagnosed by a sleep study - typically undertaken in a sleep lab.

CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure) devices are often prescribed as part of a treatment plan for sleep apnea. They work by maintaining a stream of positive air pressure which serves to maintain an open airway.
