The mattress toppers were sent very quickly with packaging in excellent way. We have had them on now for a few days @ highly recommend them. Why is it called OstrichPillow?
The name is inspired by the old myth that ostriches bury their heads in the sand to hide. The Original Napping Pillow is designed to let you do exactly that (metaphorically)—bury your head in the pillow to escape your surroundings and take a nap, regardless of the chaos around you.
Can I breathe inside the Original Pillow?
Yes, absolutely. While it looks like a full helmet, the Original Pillow features a large opening for the nose and mouth. It is designed to cover the eyes and ears for sensory deprivation (blocking light and noise) while ensuring plenty of airflow for comfortable breathing.
Is the OstrichPillow washable?
It depends on the model.
- Original Pillow: This is generally Hand Wash Only (or spot clean). Because the microbeads or foam are integrated into the structure, you cannot remove the filling.
- Go Neck Pillow: This features a removable, machine-washable sleeve. You can unzip the fabric cover and wash it, but the memory foam core should not be submerged in water.
What is the difference between the "Go" and the "Light"?
- Go: This is a dedicated Travel Neck Pillow. It is made of memory foam, wraps tight around the neck, and compresses into a small bag. It is best for sleeping upright on planes.
- Light: This is a Reversible Eye Mask / Mini Pillow. It is a ring of microbeads that sits over your eyes (as a mask) or around your neck (as a light scarf). It is less supportive than the Go but much more versatile for casual commuting or reading.
Does the "Go" pillow come in sizes?
