Good customer service that communicated with me to get my order to me ASAP.
Nifty little device that has helped me get off to sleep & block out other house & street noise. I love the thunderstorms sound. Quite compact & lightweight so I hope to take it travelling. Lots of different sound options which is great. Has rain sounds which I love but it they're more like a trickle sound rather than rain per se. Just an observation!
Great service prompt delivery thanks for the sample ear plugs too!
Great
Bought the Air Purifier for my sister. It arrived very quickly and she is overjoyed that at last she can get rid of all the nasty airborne particles in her home
My order with Sleep Solutions was very easy. The travel pillow arrived within days of placing the order. Great updates with the order. I’m very happy with the pillow, thank you
Excellent
Sound and vibration is good but useless because of the wires, when children did sleep moving it became displaced so not working
Foam earplugs are generally considered safe for short-term or occasional use, such as for blocking out noise during travel or sleep. They are usually made from soft, hypoallergenic materials like polyurethane foam, which conforms to the shape of the ear canal. However, extended use of foam earplugs can pose some risks if proper hygiene and usage guidelines are not followed. For instance, reusing dirty earplugs can lead to ear infections, and incorrect insertion can cause earwax impaction or even temporary hearing loss.
Here are some safety tips and considerations for using foam earplugs:
Foam earplugs offer several advantages that make them a popular choice for noise reduction in various settings. They are widely accessible, easy to use, and generally affordable, which contributes to their popularity for blocking out ambient noise during sleep, travel, or work in loud environments. Foam earplugs are designed to expand and conform to the shape of your ear canal, providing a snug fit that effectively seals off external noise. In addition, the lightweight and soft material typically used, such as polyurethane foam, ensures comfort, especially for short-term use.
Here are some key advantages of foam earplugs:
While foam earplugs are often marketed as disposable and designed for single-use, some people do choose to reuse them for a limited number of times. However, reusing foam earplugs is generally not recommended by manufacturers or healthcare professionals, mainly due to hygiene concerns. Foam earplugs can accumulate earwax, bacteria, or dirt with each use, increasing the risk of ear infections when reused. Moreover, the foam material may lose its elasticity and ability to properly expand into the ear canal, making them less effective at noise reduction over time.
Proper insertion of foam earplugs is crucial for effective noise reduction and for ensuring the safety and comfort of your ears. Incorrectly inserted earplugs can lead to ear discomfort, reduced noise-blocking effectiveness, and even the risk of ear damage. The general method for inserting foam earplugs involves rolling, pulling, and holding steps to ensure that the earplug expands within the ear canal to create a secure seal.
Here's a step-by-step guide on how to insert foam earplugs correctly:
