Excellent product, excellent customer service and very fast delivery. I will say, however, that I find the headhand too hot at the moment. This can't really be helped. But if you tend to run hot or get hot flushes, consider this.
We couldn't believe how fast the electric blankets got here from Sydney. Just 3 days by Australia post to Toowoomba. The products have all the features we wanted as well.
They were very helpful when placing an NDIS order and fast.
Found the website easy to use and order what I needed Delivery was very quick Will be ordering again
Was very keen to try this but so hard to as hubby not like it. Tried with earplugs but the cable was annoying
Have been travelling with the pillow and highly recommend
I was unsure how this product would work but have been amazed at the change in my breathing/sleeping pattern. So thank you Sleep Solutions I am thrilled with this air purifier and the speed in which it was delivered to me.
Great service and quick delivery. Range of Mack's earplugs you can't get in stores here. The ultra soft ones are the winner.
Weighted blankets are uniquely designed with added weight to deliver gentle, even pressure across the body, resembling the sensation of a comforting hug. This principle of applying pressure is known as "deep touch pressure" (DTP), and it offers several benefits:
When selecting a weighted blanket, it's generally recommended to choose one that's approximately 10% of your body weight for the most effective results. Always ensure it's the right fit for your needs, and consult with experts if unsure.
Weighted blankets, when used correctly, are generally safe and do not pose significant risks to circulation for most individuals. They are designed to provide deep touch pressure, mimicking the sensation of a hug or swaddle. However, the relationship between weighted blankets and circulation depends on several factors:
For the majority, a correctly chosen weighted blanket shouldn't adversely affect circulation. However, always listen to your body. If you feel numbness, tingling, or discomfort, it's essential to adjust or remove the blanket. It's also a good idea to consult with a healthcare expert if you have concerns or specific health conditions.
A weighted blanket is a specially designed blanket that contains additional weight, achieved by filling it with materials such as glass beads, plastic pellets, or natural grains. This added weight creates a gentle and even pressure across the body, reminiscent of a comforting embrace. Weighted blankets are not just regular bedding items; they have been developed with a purpose in mind:
When considering a weighted blanket, it's typically recommended to select one that weighs around 10% of the user's body weight. This ensures the blanket provides adequate pressure without being overly heavy or restrictive. They come in various sizes, weights, and fabrics, catering to individual preferences and needs.
Weighted blankets, when used correctly and responsibly, are generally considered safe for most adults and older children. They are designed to offer a gentle and even pressure across the body, simulating the sensation of a comforting hug. However, as with any product, there are considerations and precautions to keep in mind:
When used appropriately, many individuals find weighted blankets beneficial for relaxation and improved sleep. However, always listen to your body and ensure comfort and safety. If you have any concerns or are unsure about the suitability of a weighted blanket for your situation, it's wise to consult with a healthcare expert.
Weighted blankets have gained popularity as a therapeutic tool, especially among individuals dealing with anxiety. These blankets, designed with added weight, offer an enveloping and grounding sensation that many liken to a comforting embrace. Here's why they might be beneficial for anxiety:
While many users have found relief from anxiety symptoms with weighted blankets, it's essential to note that they're not a one-size-fits-all solution. They are a complementary tool and should not replace professional medical advice or treatments. If you're considering using a weighted blanket for anxiety, it's always a good idea to consult with a healthcare professional or therapist to ensure it's suitable for your individual needs.
Restless legs syndrome (RLS) is a neurological condition where individuals experience an irresistible urge to move their legs, often accompanied by uncomfortable sensations. Weighted blankets, known for providing deep touch pressure, have been explored as a potential tool for alleviating RLS symptoms. Here's what's understood about their use:
It's important to note that while some individuals with RLS have found weighted blankets beneficial, the evidence is largely anecdotal. The blanket may not work for everyone and is not a definitive cure for RLS. If you suffer from restless legs syndrome and are considering a weighted blanket as a complementary approach, it's advised to consult with a healthcare professional to discuss its potential benefits and to ensure it's an appropriate choice for your specific condition.
