Manufacturer recommends you replace the filters every 6 months based on normal usage.

Adding activated carbon to a filter may affect airflow and CADR. You may also notice a slight odor from the enhanced activated carbon when the filter is first used, but this will quickly dissipate.

The Dual Protection filters outperform the previous ones primarily through their coconut-derived carbon, which eliminates gaseous pollutants—including volatile organic compounds (VOCs from sources like paints or cleaners), smoke, odors, exhaust fumes, and various chemicals—up to four times faster than standard or earlier carbon filters, all while maintaining excellent particle filtration.

This enhanced speed stems from the natural high porosity and extensive surface area of coconut shell carbon, enabling superior adsorption without the need for chemical enhancements.
