Ionmax Ray Far Infrared Heater ION801

Having absorbed the information about this unit, and reading the reviews for a long time now; the gas heater in my rental finally died and so I purchased the Ionmax Ray heater, which I can always take with me.

Living in the Blue Mountains NSW in a largely un-insulated, inadequately heated house, this unit heats the different areas I use it in with a beautiful, economical heat when required. It is also very easy to move the unit when using my mobility walker, moving it regularly. In time I'll be purchasing a second unit for sure. Already different visitors have commented on the lovely heat, especially when sitting in its proximity, in its line of most effect. I do not understand the negative reviews. Perhaps they wanted to heat a VERY large living space, for which you'd need 2, however I find it very effective in my Kitchen dining area with doors closed, and also my L-shaped lounge-study area with doors closed. Both of which are standard not small areas. Granted, it won't give you an instant blast of full-room heat, and it encourages not over-overheating a space. I can see it'd be marvelous for a bedroom. Used intelligently, these are fabulous heaters. I only wish the cord was longer, at least 2 metres and a little more. In a purpose built house, planning for this unit with appropriately placed sockets would perfectly cater to the cord length and placement of the unit. But it can be worked around if sockets are not optimal. I'm satisfied and so glad I did my research and found the ION801. (Posted on 5/21/23 )

I'm so loving this heater. If you're thinking of getting one, I doubt you'd regret it. It is fabulous, it warms you up to the extent that I often have to turn it down to the lowest setting. It is beautifully designed and built. Thumbs up on this, for sure. (Posted on 5/6/18 )
