SleepRight Dura Comfort Teeth Grinding Dental Mouth Guard
Prevent Teeth Grinding and have restful sleep
SleepRight No-Boil Dental Guards protect teeth from damage caused by nighttime teeth grinding (bruxism). Designed by a Dental Specialist, the patented auto-fit technology eliminates the hassle of boiling or microwaving for fitting. It is ready to wear right out of the package.
No-Boil Dental Guard
The SleepRight No-Boil Dental Guard helps protect teeth and dental work from the harmful effects of teeth grinding. Patented self-adjusting bite pads allow you to create a custom fit without having to boil water to fit and mold a custom dental guard.
This night dental guard is designed for comfort. Automatically swivels to match bite angle and adjusts to fit all sizes. Includes stability wings for extra safety and security.
The bite pads fit comfortably between the molars and are held in place by the soft tissue of the cheeks and lower lip.
The Smart Choice
The SleepRight Dental Guard does not contain BPA, silicone, latex, phthalates or any harmful toxins, and will not leach any chemicals into your mouth. It is manufactured in an FDA inspected facility.
Three-step self-help Philosophy
Bruxism is a habit of unconsciously clenching and grinding your teeth. The SleepRight dental guard protects your teeth from clenching and grinding, while the self-help philosophy teaches you to break this neuromuscular habit.
The SleepRight dental guard is designed to restore the space that exists naturally between your teeth when you are relaxed. By wearing the SleepRight dental guard 30 minutes before sleep, you will become more aware of the daily clenching and grinding you do during your routines.
Take the initiative to break the habit of clenching and grinding by resisting the urge to bite down on the bite pads. Relax your jaw, keep your lips together, and your teeth apart while you are awake. Finding indentations on the bite pads from your teeth means you should make more of an effort to concentrate on "lips together, teeth apart".
To transition from clenching your teeth to relaxing your jaw while asleep, you must repeat the mantra "lips together, teeth apart" while awake until it is a healthy habit that no longer needs your conscious attention. Everyone's learning curve is different, so please be patient.
How To Use SleepRight Dura Comfort Dental Guard
Check how it fits:
- Your dental guard has adjustable bite pads, which have been pre-adjusted to fit most people. Place it in your mouth and use a mirror to check how the pre-adjusted position fits before making further adjustments
- The bite pads fit between the upper and lower molars. The front end of the bite pads should rest between the upper third tooth and fourth tooth from the front midline.
- The thermal band should rest between your lower lip, cheek and gums. Your body temperature will activate the thermal forming properties of the band for a more confortable fit.
Adjust bite pads if needed
- Your dental guard has 4 settings on both sides that allow you to adjust the bite pads forward for a smaller fit and backward for a larger fit, creating sizes S, M, L and XL.
Adjustments can easily be made by holding the bite pad firmly with one hand, while gently pushing the band towards the bite pad with the other.
Bite pads should feel tightly secured to the strap. Use water to make adjusting easier.
- For best results, begin wearing 30-minutes before lying down
- Concentrate on "lips together and theeth apart" to initiate jaw muscle relaxation
- It is natural to feel jaw muscle fatigue and soreness initially. This is normal due to the natural tendency to clench your teeth. Clenching may even cause minor headaches.
Cleaning and Storage
To clean your dental guard, rinse it with cool water or mouthwash. For futher cleaning, brush it with a toothbrush and toothpaste. Avoid hot water. Dry thoroughly and store in your case. Replace your dental guard if you notice breakage or excessive yellowing.
How it works
Clenching and grinding teeth has been classified as a neuromuscular disorder. Overactive muscles can cause chipping, fractures, excessive wear and loosening of the teeth. The SleepRight Dental Guard's articulating bite pads, made of a hybrid resilient material, fit comfortably between your teeth and are designed to re-establish your natural freeway space. They interrupt the clenching cycle so the jaw muscles can relax. We strongly encourage to concentrate on "lips together, teeth apart" to initiate the muscle relaxation process. Your goal is to relax your jaw muscles and don't bite down!

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Will the SleepRight dental guard help my tongue thrusting habit?
A: The SleepRight dental guard will not directly help with your tongue thrusting habit, but it could aid in relieving your problem in conjunction with other therapies.
Q: Will the SleepRight dental guard help the popping sounds in my jaw?
A: There are many different kinds of sounds that come from the jaw. If your jaw popping or clicking is at an early stage, using the SleepRight dental guard will help heal your jaw joint and the sounds will go away.
Q: How long does the SleepRight dental guard last?
A: The SleepRight dental guard could last forever without the pressure and force exerted by a human jaw. However, depending on the rate that you clench or grind, we can't really determine how long our dental guards will last for you.
Q: How long do I need to wear the SleepRight dental guard?
A: There is no set length of time that you should wear our dental guard. The average time is different for everyone, and it just depends on your learning curve and how fast you can make the transition.
Q: Will the SleepRight work on young children?
The SleepRight dental guard is not recommended for children under 18 years of age. Because children are not as adept at behavior modification as adults, we don't want them to rely on our dental guards as a solution to their teeth grinding.

PVerified ReviewBetter option than seeing the dentist I reckon!Like any mouthguard it takes a bit of getting used to but my tongue (which is normally serrated) is already starting to look normal again. Love how simple it is to use. (Posted on 05-08-2021)
MVerified ReviewComfortable protectionI've been using high quality sports mouthguard and some really expensive dental guards. This one is right in the middle - there's no need for the fitted one with the dentist. SleepRight does the job. (Posted on 20-07-2021)
