An upgrade from the beanbag pillows
Previously I used a cheap travel pillow purchased from an airport store. Then I read a few reviews of this pillow and tried it out on a 14-hour international flight and return. I didn't find it very comfortable; it was ok and better than no pillow. The side supports are very high up around the ears, and as others have mentioned it makes it uncomfortable to wear noise-cancelling headphones at the same time. I wondered whether there was an option for smaller size but there doesn't appear to be. Maybe the memory foam just hasn't learned my shape yet. I do like how the pillows packs in to a small bag.

Non-restrictive but firm support
I was hesitant to spend so much on a travel pillow, but this one is worthwhile. It’s very comfortable & stops head falling forward when falling asleep.

I’ll know more after I’ve flown
So far I’ve only tried it on in my armchair, and it feels comfortable and supportive. I’ve never been able to sleep in planes, despite trying several different sorts of “pillows”. This feels like it will fit the bill for the long haul flights I have planned in the near future.
