When I have rang and enquired about any product information I have always received prompt up to date details about items I have wanted to purchase. The staff at Sleep Solutions are professional, polite and nothing is too much trouble for them when ordering and the ongoing communciation with 'products in transit' is second to none. Highly recommend this company. Christine
On time and a great product
Good quality, great price, sleep phones are comfortable and work very well. Highly reccomend this product and company
Helpful staff, quick delivery and products to help support people with tinnitus / decreased sound tolerance.
Easy Peasy - filter arrived on time.
I purchased the Wireless Bluetooth Headband. Frustrating from first use fiddling around with the control panel and the cabled buds inside the band. After just a few uses the control unit wouldn't charge as advertised (inside the band). Troubleshooting suggested removing from the band, did this but still would not charge. Contacted sleep solutions, sent them a short video of the charging error lights. Despite the product being less than 2 months old they sent me a pre-paid consignment note, to send the control panel & charging pad back to them - I was instructed to include a detailed explanation of the problem and of course my contact details. They would investigate and come back to me. I was also to ensure the product was packaged in a manner to prevent damage. What they should have done, given the age of the product is apologise and sent me a replacement. Unit is useless, I'll throw it out.
Quick delivery and great communication. Sound machine works perfectly for my daughters room
Bought online, after 9 days of having no notice about shipping I emailed them and only then they sent the package. It's been two weeks and I still haven't been delivered.
Hearos is a globally trusted leader in hearing protection, founded in 1992 by Doug Pick in Studio City, California. The brand was born from a personal need; Pick, a regular earplug user, was dissatisfied with the stiff, uncomfortable products available at the time and set out to create a superior alternative. Today, Hearos is renowned for transforming the humble earplug into a high-performance accessory, having sold over 400 million pairs worldwide.
They offer a diverse range of hearing protection solutions tailored to specific lifestyles—from the Xtreme Protection series for industrial work and shooting to the High Fidelity series for musicians who need to lower volume without distorting sound quality. With a commitment to North American manufacturing and rigorous quality control, Hearos provides the ultimate defense against noise-induced hearing loss while ensuring users can still sleep, travel, and rock out in comfort.
Hearos’ mission is to deliver "optimal protection and maximum comfort—every time." They operate on the vision that hearing protection should not be a "one size fits all" commodity, but a specialized tool designed for specific environments. Innovation is the hallmark of the brand, most notably seen in their proprietary PowerSoft™ Foam Technology.
This specialized polyurethane formulation features a silky-smooth "skin" that prevents irritation in the sensitive ear canal and a slow-recovery memory that allows users ample time to roll and insert the plug before it expands to form a perfect seal. Furthermore, they revolutionized the music industry with their Flat Attenuation Technology, utilizing a tuned resonator in their High Fidelity plugs to reduce decibels evenly across the frequency spectrum, preventing the "muffled" sound typical of standard foam plugs.
Sleep Solutions is NDIS Registered and Approved
The main difference lies in density and purpose. Xtreme Protection (Blue) is designed for maximum noise blocking with a Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) of 33dB—the highest available for foam plugs. It is slightly firmer and ideal for loud events, shooting, or heavy machinery. Ultimate Softness (Beige) has an NRR of 32dB and is formulated with a softer, more pliable foam specifically designed for sleep, ensuring comfort even for side sleepers.
It depends on the model. High Fidelity (Musician’s) and Multi-Purpose silicone plugs are reusable and should be washed regularly with mild soap and warm water. Foam earplugs (like Xtreme or Sleep Pretty in Pink) are generally designed to be disposable. While they can technically be wiped down, water can degrade the foam’s slow-recovery properties and hygiene over time, so it is recommended to replace them after a few uses.
To get the full NRR protection, you must use the "Roll, Pull, and Hold" method.
Standard foam earplugs block high-frequency sounds (treble) more than low-frequency sounds (bass), which makes music sound muffled and muddy. Flat Attenuation, found in Hearos High Fidelity plugs, reduces the volume of all frequencies equally. This means the music sounds exactly the same, just quieter—perfect for concerts, drummers, and clubbing.
If earplugs fall out, it is usually because they were not inserted deep enough or the foam expanded before it was fully inside the canal. Ensure you are rolling the plug as thin as possible and pulling the ear back to open the canal. If you have smaller ear canals, you may need a specialized model like the Nanos or Sleep Pretty in Pink, which are sized for smaller ears.
