How to use the Advance Glo to Sleep Mask

Step 1

Choose between red light or blue light. Adjust the brightness and set the timer to choose the length of the sleep program with 3 auto dim options: -Ramp down in 10 minutes, 20 minutes or 30 minutes

Settle into a comfortable sleeping position, adjusting your Glo to Sleep mask position as necessary so you can see the four points of Glo and no external light. Align the Glo to Sleep to see four Points of Glo and relax

Look up at the points of Glo (the highest points of Glo that you can). Use a relaxed gaze. You may blink.

Breathe IN - 1... 2... 3... 4...Breathe OUT - 1... 2... 3... 4...Keep your eyes open, looking up at a point of Glo.

Sleeping better than I have in months
I ordered this sleep mask at 3:30am during another bout of insomnia, hoping that it might make a difference. In summary, I'm sleeping better than I have in months since I've started using the GTS-2000SE.

About my environment: I sleep in a fairly bright room, so light pollution has always been a factor. I would know if there was any light leakage from this mask and with a little shifting on my face can confirm it totally blocks all light. It's relatively comfortable (for a mask) and as a side sleeper I found that I was able to comfortably find a position on my pillow that both provided support and kept the mask in place.

About the mask: The lights pulse much faster than I was expecting. From the product description (Breathe IN - 1... 2... 3... 4...Breathe OUT - 1... 2... 3... 4...) I would have expected a pulse that matched the breathing rhythm you're trying to maintain. Instead the light moves closer to a resting heart rate pulse, but it does slow and dim as your time moves on. Regardless, I found the light easy to view and I often find that I'm asleep before the timer (I have it set to 20 minutes) has turned the light off. I personally use the red LED so I can't comment on the blue LED but I assume it's probably similar.

Whether the mask is simply allowing me to breathe at a more relaxed rate and find sleep, or whether there's a placebo factor happening (something new, must be working!) it doesn't matter. I'm sleeping better than I have in a long time and I'm very happy with my purchase. (Posted on )

Perfect
It takes me hours to get to sleep and am woken by the first sign of light. With this sleep mask I asleep with in 20 mins but more like 10 mins and sleep till my body wakes me not the light. So comfortable and pitch black dark when the blue light is off. This is my second pair. Love love love them. (Posted on )

Hurts ears
This mask is comfortable when you first put it on but when you wake up the strap will have moved down to the top of your ear and it will feel like your ear has been cut off. (Posted on )
