Excellent product, excellent customer service and very fast delivery. I will say, however, that I find the headhand too hot at the moment. This can't really be helped. But if you tend to run hot or get hot flushes, consider this.
We couldn't believe how fast the electric blankets got here from Sydney. Just 3 days by Australia post to Toowoomba. The products have all the features we wanted as well.
They were very helpful when placing an NDIS order and fast.
Found the website easy to use and order what I needed Delivery was very quick Will be ordering again
Was very keen to try this but so hard to as hubby not like it. Tried with earplugs but the cable was annoying
Have been travelling with the pillow and highly recommend
I was unsure how this product would work but have been amazed at the change in my breathing/sleeping pattern. So thank you Sleep Solutions I am thrilled with this air purifier and the speed in which it was delivered to me.
Great service and quick delivery. Range of Mack's earplugs you can't get in stores here. The ultra soft ones are the winner.
The complete guide to long single toppers — the specialist size for adjustable beds, tall sleepers, and split king set-ups.
Finding bedding that fits non-standard dimensions can be genuinely frustrating. The long single is one of the most practical sizes in the Australian range, yet it's often poorly represented in stores — leaving owners of adjustable beds, tall teenagers, and student accommodation beds stuck with ill-fitting toppers that bunch, slide, or simply don't reach the end of the mattress.
Measuring approximately 92 cm x 203 cm, a long single topper provides the same width as a standard single but matches the extra length of a king or queen bed. That 15 cm of additional length makes all the difference for taller sleepers, and the size is also the building block for Australia's most popular adjustable bed configuration — the split king.
The long single is a specialist size with specific use cases. Here's who benefits most — select a use case to learn more.
The Ultimate Split King & Adjustable Bed Solution
Two long single beds pushed together make a standard king size — and this is exactly how the vast majority of adjustable bed set-ups in Australia are configured. Each partner has their own mattress (and their own topper), which means one person can elevate their head or feet independently without disturbing the other.
A long single memory foam topper is the most popular choice for this configuration, as memory foam's body-contouring properties don't resist the mattress bending with the adjustable base underneath. Wool and microfibre toppers also work well. The key is choosing a topper with a proper elasticised skirt — not corner straps — so it stays securely anchored when the bed moves.
Two 92 cm wide long singles side by side = 184 cm — essentially identical to a standard king (183 cm). Each side can be managed, adjusted, and topped independently while the bed functions as one unified king surface.
Comfort for Taller Teenagers & Adults
A standard single mattress measures just 188 cm long — fine for most children, but uncomfortably short for teenagers going through a growth spurt and for any adult over roughly 180 cm. Feet dangling off the end isn't just uncomfortable; it creates genuine tension in the lower legs and can disrupt sleep throughout the night.
A long single topper at 203 cm gives an extra 15 cm of sleeping length — the same as a queen or king size bed — while keeping the narrow 92 cm width that fits in a smaller bedroom. For tall teenagers who have outgrown their standard single mattress but whose room won't accommodate a wider bed, swapping in a long single mattress and topper is the most practical solution available.
Reviving Dorm & Guest Room Beds
Student accommodation, boarding school dormitories, and purpose-built guest rooms frequently use long single mattresses because they maximise sleeping space while minimising room footprint. The problem is that institutional mattresses are often hard, thin, and uncomfortable — prioritising durability over sleep quality.
Adding a premium long single topper is one of the most cost-effective ways to transform a basic, firm dorm mattress into a genuinely comfortable sleep surface. For students heading to university accommodation or boarding school, a quality microfibre or memory foam topper is a practical first-year essential that makes a significant difference to sleep quality during a stressful period of life.
Once you know you need a long single, the next decision is material. Each fill type serves a different purpose — here's what to choose based on how you sleep.
The most popular choice for adjustable beds and for sleepers dealing with back or joint pain. Memory foam contours to the body's shape, distributing weight evenly and relieving pressure at the hips and shoulders. It also bends naturally with adjustable bases.
A long single wool underlay is an excellent year-round choice — particularly for sleepers in variable Australian climates. Wool naturally regulates temperature in both directions, keeping you warm in winter and wicking away moisture on hot summer nights.
Bamboo toppers — either bamboo-filled or bamboo memory foam combos — are the standout choice for hot sleepers in warm Australian climates. Bamboo fibre wicks moisture away rapidly and allows excellent airflow, keeping the sleep surface noticeably cooler than synthetic alternatives.
Microfibre down alternative toppers are the easiest-care option and a great choice for dorms, student rooms, and guest beds where machine washability matters. They deliver genuine cloud-like softness at an accessible price, and many lighter options are fully machine washable.
It's easy to confuse the long single with nearby sizes. Here's exactly how it compares so you can be confident you're ordering the right fit.

A long single mattress topper measures 92 cm x 203 cm in Australia. This is the same length as a king single but narrower. Long single toppers are the correct size for each side of a split king bed, and for most adjustable bed bases.
Most split king adjustable beds use two long single mattresses (92 x 203 cm each). Check your mattress dimensions before ordering. If your adjustable bed has a single base (not split), you'll need a king size topper instead.
