Excellent product, excellent customer service and very fast delivery. I will say, however, that I find the headhand too hot at the moment. This can't really be helped. But if you tend to run hot or get hot flushes, consider this.
We couldn't believe how fast the electric blankets got here from Sydney. Just 3 days by Australia post to Toowoomba. The products have all the features we wanted as well.
They were very helpful when placing an NDIS order and fast.
Found the website easy to use and order what I needed Delivery was very quick Will be ordering again
Was very keen to try this but so hard to as hubby not like it. Tried with earplugs but the cable was annoying
Have been travelling with the pillow and highly recommend
I was unsure how this product would work but have been amazed at the change in my breathing/sleeping pattern. So thank you Sleep Solutions I am thrilled with this air purifier and the speed in which it was delivered to me.
Great service and quick delivery. Range of Mack's earplugs you can't get in stores here. The ultra soft ones are the winner.
The complete Australian guide to king toppers — reviving a tired mattress, solving motion transfer, and dialling in the perfect feel for two very different sleepers.
A king size bed (183 cm x 203 cm) is one of the most significant investments you can make in your home — and in your relationship. But even the best mattress eventually starts to lose its feel, sag at the edges, or simply stop delivering the level of comfort you paid for. Before you commit to an expensive replacement, a king size mattress topper is the smarter first step.
A quality topper can completely transform your sleep surface in one evening — adding pressure relief, adjusting firmness, improving temperature regulation, or dramatically reducing the motion transfer that wakes you up every time your partner shifts position. For couples sharing a king bed, it's one of the highest-value sleep upgrades available.
King beds introduce specific challenges that smaller sizes don't have — particularly for couples. Here's where a topper makes the biggest difference.
Eliminating Partner Disturbance
Motion transfer is one of the most common and most underrated sleep disruptors for couples sharing a king bed. Every time your partner rolls over, gets up for water, or shifts position, that kinetic energy travels through the mattress and registers as vibration on your side — even if it's subtle enough that you don't fully wake up, it can still fragment your sleep architecture and leave you feeling unrested by morning.
A high-density memory foam topper is the most effective solution. Memory foam excels at absorbing and isolating movement — the foam compresses locally around the source of motion rather than transmitting it laterally across the mattress surface. The result is that your partner's side of the bed becomes essentially independent from yours. Early risers, light sleepers, and couples on different work schedules consistently report that adding a memory foam topper is one of the single most impactful changes they've made to their shared sleep.
Tailored Back Support
Waking up stiff, sore, or with lower back pain is often a sign that your mattress isn't providing the right level of support for your body and sleeping position. On a king bed, this is a particularly common problem because couples typically sleep on different areas of the mattress — and different body weights and sleeping positions create different support requirements across the same sleep surface.
A firm or medium-density memory foam topper can bridge the gap between an under-supported lower back and the mattress surface, helping to maintain a neutral spinal position throughout the night. It distributes body weight more evenly, reduces peak pressure at the hips and shoulders, and prevents the slight sink that causes misalignment on softer or ageing mattresses. For couples where one partner has ongoing back or hip pain, a topper is a much more targeted — and cost-effective — solution than replacing the entire mattress.
Split King Configuration for Different Sleep Preferences
What if one partner needs firm support for their back, while the other wants a soft, plush surface? Or one runs hot while the other runs cold? A single king topper has to serve both — but a split king configuration gives each person complete independence. Instead of one king topper, you use two long single toppers (92 cm x 203 cm each) placed side by side, allowing each partner to choose their own material, firmness, and feel.
The split king is also the standard set-up for couples using an adjustable bed base. Each person has their own mattress and their own topper, so one partner can raise their head section for reading while the other lies completely flat — with no compromise required on either side. The two long single toppers sit together invisibly under a single king fitted sheet.
Partner A could choose a firm memory foam for back support while Partner B sleeps on a plush microfibre. Covered by a single king fitted sheet, it looks and functions exactly like a standard king bed.
The most important decision when buying a king topper isn't the material — it's the feel. The right choice depends entirely on what your current mattress is doing wrong. Answer one question: what does your mattress feel like right now?
If your mattress is creating pressure points at your hips, shoulders, or knees — or you wake up with joint aches from lying on a hard surface — you need to add softness and cushioning. A plush topper creates a gentle buffer between your body and the firm base beneath.
If your mattress has developed a dip or sag, or feels like it lacks support, you need to add structure. A firm, high-density foam topper restores a flatter, more supportive sleep surface and bridges the gap where the mattress has lost its integrity.
Once you know the feel you need, choose the material that best matches how you and your partner sleep.
The standout choice for couples. Memory foam absorbs motion superbly, contours to individual body shapes on each side of the bed, and provides targeted spinal support. Gel-infused varieties address the heat retention that standard memory foam can cause.
Ideal for couples who want a genuinely natural sleep surface that performs across all seasons. Wool regulates temperature in both directions — keeping you warm in winter and wicking moisture in summer — making it an excellent compromise when two partners have different temperature preferences.
For couples who want their bedroom to feel like a 5-star suite, a king feather and down topper delivers that signature cloud-like, enveloping softness. It's naturally breathable and adds warmth without weight — a genuine upgrade in sleep luxury for those without feather allergies.
The best choice for couples in warmer climates or where at least one partner runs hot. Bamboo's natural moisture-wicking properties keep the sleep surface noticeably cooler, and bamboo-cover memory foam toppers combine cooling breathability with the motion isolation and support properties of foam.

An Australian king mattress topper measures 183 cm x 203 cm. This fits standard Australian king beds. For split king adjustable beds, you'll need two long single toppers (92 x 203 cm each) instead.
A high-density memory foam topper (7-8 cm thick, 50+ kg/m³ density) provides the best support for back pain on a king bed. Gel-infused memory foam adds cooling if you sleep warm. For a firmer option, look for a high-density foam topper rather than bamboo or down.
