The Blueair Blue Extension 3610 Air Purifier takes a simple approach to air quality with one-touch enabled Auto mode and customizable pre-filters in a lightweight, compact package.

This air purifier is designed for large rooms of up to 51m² and filters the air at a rate of about 5x an hour(or about every 12 minutes) to effectively lower particle levels and help maintain a comfortable environment in your large living room, family room, or playroom.

The Blueair Blue 3610 Air Purifier offers a three-part filtration:

Fabric Pre-filter - catches large particles like pet hair, dust and extending the life of the primary filter.
Carbon Filter - uses a layer of activated carbon to filter light household odors from pets, cooking, and smoking.

What does "True HEPA" Mean?

To conform to the HEPA standard an air purifier and their filters need to capture up to 99.97 percent of particles as small as 0.3 microns.

The "True" is just a marketing term some manufacturers use - if a filter conforms to HEPA standard it is deemed a "True" HEPA filter.

Blueair filters not only meet the HEPA standard, but exceed it. Blueair filters clean down to a much smaller 0.1 particle vs 0.3 microns minimum HEPA standard.

Tip: How do you reset your filter light?

Press the touch button for a duration of 7 seconds to reset the filter replacement timer. This lets the air purifier know that you have changed the filter. The indicator light flashes for 4 seconds, and then changes from red to white.

How should I clean the fabric pre-filter?

Vacuum the exterior of the fabric pre-filter to remove dust as often as you'd like. When the pre-filter requires a deeper clean, it can be washed on a gentle, low temperature cycle in the washing machine.

Why is my LED yellow?

The LED indicator will turn yellow after 5 months of operation to warn that it's almost time to change the filter. When the indicator light turns red (one month later), it’s time to change the main filter.

What to do when indicator light still lit up red upon changing the filter?

Value for money and very quiet

I bought this house in my bedroom mainly to reduce cat hair and dander. I researched different brands and this machine is real value for money. It is quiet enough that it doesn't disturb my sleep. Impressive

We were noticing dust falling constantly, we get headaches, bouts of unstoppable sneezing, sore eyes, and itchy faces and noses, no matter how much we clean.

Couldn’t go back to life without them

They can be a bit loud on high but they have a sleep option we have severe sinus problems thanks to theses and the VBreathes we have barely had any allergy medication in the 6 months of owning them I’d recommend them especially if you live in dry areas we have added a humidifier at nights and have been having the best sleep we have ever had (Posted on 4/26/22 )
