Based on the award-winning Crane Drop, the 1.9-litre Droplet delivers the same top-rated ultrasonic cool mist performance in a compact, stylish teardrop shape. With up to 15 hours of run time and coverage for rooms up to 23 square metres, it's ideal for bedrooms, nurseries and home offices.
Coughs, dry tickly throats, congestion and colds can disrupt sleep for babies and adults alike. A whisper-quiet Crane Droplet increases air moisture for easier breathing and a better night's rest.
Cool mist humidifiers are recommended by paediatricians as the safest option for households with young children because there is no heating element. Increased moisture in the air can help relieve dry coughs, nasal congestion, itchy eyes, chapped lips, nosebleeds and scratchy throats - safe to use from newborn through to adults.
Do not add essential oils directly to the Droplet's water tank - oils will interfere with the ultrasonic membrane and cause the plastic to degrade over time. Instead, use the built-in vapour pad tray to place Crane's scented pads underneath the unit for a gentle aromatic experience. The HS-1950 Menthol Pad provides congestion relief, while the HS-1950L Lavender & Sweet Orange Pad supports restful sleep. Scented vapour pads are recommended for ages 3 and up.
Cool mist humidifiers do not contain a heating element, making them one of the safest options for households with babies and young children. The ultrasonic vibrations produce fine mist particles that are cool to the touch. Cool mist is also recommended to help relieve croup. Unlike warm mist or steam vapourisers, there is no burn risk from the mist itself.
An ultrasonic humidifier works similarly to a stereo speaker, yet stays whisper quiet. A nebuliser vibrates at an ultrasonic frequency to create a fine mist that easily dissipates into the air rather than forming droplets that fall to the ground - gently and quietly raising the humidity in your room.
Regular cleaning will keep your humidifier running smoother, for longer. We highly recommend emptying the water tank and basin after each use and disinfecting them at least once a week with water and a few capfuls of white vinegar.
Cleaning and disinfecting regularly is very important for maintaining the performance of your humidifier - NEVER IMMERSE THE HUMIDIFIER BASE IN WATER.
Please read the manual included with your humidifier for full care instructions.

Why should I use a humidifier?
Humidifiers increase moisture in the air that can otherwise be depleted by air conditioners, heaters and dry weather. The right balance of air moisture helps ease coughs, dry tickly throats, congestion and colds - and supports a better night's sleep.
Is the Droplet suitable for babies and toddlers?
Yes. The cool mist technology contains no heating element, making it completely safe in nurseries and children's bedrooms. It is safe to use from newborn. Scented vapour pads are recommended for ages 3 and up - use no pad or an unscented option for younger babies.
Humidifier or vapouriser?
Humidifier is the common name in the US for what is often called a vapouriser in Australia and New Zealand. The Crane Droplet is a cool mist ultrasonic vapouriser - not to be confused with warm mist or steam vapourisers. The terms are used interchangeably when referring to Crane products.
What is the difference between the Crane Drop and the Droplet?
The Drop is the larger model with a 3.75L tank, while the Droplet has a 1.9L tank. Both run continuously through the night. The Droplet is the more compact option, well-suited to single rooms, nurseries and home offices.
Can I use essential oils with this humidifier?
No - essential oils should never be added to the Droplet's water tank. They will damage the ultrasonic membrane and cause the plastic to break down over time. Use Crane's compatible vapour pads (sold separately) placed in the tray underneath the unit instead.
Why is there white dust near my humidifier?
This harmless fine white dust is caused by mineral content in tap water being broken up by the ultrasonic process. To prevent it, use distilled or filtered water, or add an optional Crane Demineralisation Filter (HS-1932) that screws directly into the tank.
Is too much humidity a concern?
Yes. To reduce excessive humidity - particularly in a smaller room - leave the door slightly ajar to improve air circulation. You can also adjust the mist output to a lower setting. If you notice mist rising and falling straight back down, this is a sign the output is too high for the current humidity level in the room.
Which is better: warm mist or cool mist?
Both types are equally effective at humidifying a room. However, paediatricians and parents recommend cool mist for babies and children because there is no heating element, removing the risk of burns. Cool mist humidifiers are also generally more energy-efficient.

Excellent product, excellent customer service and very fast delivery. I will say, however, that I find the headhand too hot at the moment. This can't really be helped. But if you tend to run hot or get hot flushes, consider this.
We couldn't believe how fast the electric blankets got here from Sydney. Just 3 days by Australia post to Toowoomba. The products have all the features we wanted as well.
They were very helpful when placing an NDIS order and fast.

Was very keen to try this but so hard to as hubby not like it. Tried with earplugs but the cable was annoying
Have been travelling with the pillow and highly recommend
I was unsure how this product would work but have been amazed at the change in my breathing/sleeping pattern. So thank you Sleep Solutions I am thrilled with this air purifier and the speed in which it was delivered to me.
Great service and quick delivery. Range of Mack's earplugs you can't get in stores here. The ultra soft ones are the winner.
