Pillow Speaker Volume Levels

Pillow Speakers by design only have a limited volume range. This is so they don't disturb your partner sleeping next to you and due to the proximity to your ears when lying on your pillow. Note that when using a memory foam or latex pillow the density of the pillows will greatly reduce the volume of the pillow speaker.

We recommend using an amplified pillow speaker if using a latex or memory foam pillow. As everyone's hearing ability is different pillow speakers may not work well for all people.

I think this product is ‘drowsie’

Fantastic idea for a product, but not great realisation. Is difficult to learn to use more than a basic on-off and charging is a bit of a pain. Is supposed to have an auto off feature to save battery but seems to stay on all the time and only lasts one night.

It's great

I am autistic and I usually take hours to fall asleep, but with Drowsie I'm out like a light in less than an hour some nights. Rarely have I had to reset the 2 hour timer I set for myself. I've had the Drowsie sleep pillow for about a month and it is great. (Posted on 8/12/24 )

Not worth the money

I agree the Pillow speaker works poorly under the pillow. The sound is tinny and difficult to hear, even when set to the loudest setting. If on the loudest setting partner can hear. I'm sorry to say that for the price I was hoping for more, can't recommend the product and believe I've wasted my money. (Posted on 8/11/24 )

Love the drowsie

The drowsier is perfect for listening to a sleep story, music or meditation going to sleep and also if I have trouble getting back to sleep during the night. Also can put on top of the pillow if my husband also wants to listen. Would recommend definitely (Posted on 5/17/24 )

I loved it.

I loved the Drowsie Calming Under Pillow Speaker. The sound quality is (was) excellent and it worked really well. You've maybe noticed the past tense? My partner stripped the bed in a hurry and threw everything into the washing machine. Unfortunately the Drowsie Calming Under pillow Speaker got swept up as well. Despite careful drying it no longer works. I think so highly of it, I'll be buying another. This is an excellent product. Don't wash it! (Posted on 4/29/24 )

Not worth the money

The Pillow speaker works poorly under the pillow (as stated in the instructions). The sound is muffled and difficult to hear, even when set to the loudest setting. Unlike the product description when set to the loudest setting your partner can then hear the sound and will likely be disturbed by it. Better than sleep headphones

I have used sleep headphones for about 10 years but the Drowsie speaker is so much easier. It doesn’t make me hot, is easily heard through the pillow and works well with audiobooks and meditation programs that can be set for a short listening time. Love it!

My mum got this as a gift for me for my birthday because she knows that I listen to ASMR sounds to fall asleep, and what an experience! It is so much more comfortable than AirPods as it goes under the pillow and not over my ears. Would highly recommend for this who loves ASMR sounds or any sleeping sounds in general.
