How to use Glo to Sleep?

Step 1:

Activate the Points of Glo by exposing them to a light source for about 30 seconds.

Step 2:

Look up at the points of Glo (the highest points of Glo that you can). Use a relaxed gaze. You may blink.

Step 3:

Settle into a comfortable sleeping position, adjusting your Glo to Sleep mask position as necessary so you can see the four points of Glo and no external light. Align the Glo to Sleep to see four Points of Glo. Align the Glo to Sleep to see four Points of Glo and relax.

Step 4:

Take long, abdominal breaths. Let everything else relax while you inhale all the way and your lungs fill with air as your belly extends outward. Then exhale slowly and squeeze everything out of your lungs. Wait a few seconds and repeat this cycle.Breathe IN - 1... 2... 3... 4...Breathe OUT - 1... 2... 3... 4...Keep your eyes open, looking up at a point of Glo.

Perfect for my needs

I found this mask very good quality and perfect for meditation as it blocks out all light and is extremely comfortable to wear for long periods. The adjustable straps are ideal for that perfect fit. Not ideal for side sleepers

If you sleep on your back and find it hard to get to sleep then this is the mask for you. If you sleep on your side then perhaps rethink you sleep mask choice. When lying on my back the reflective blue light was hypnotising and my eyelids became heavy within a minute So much so I found it hard to keep them open. This is good just what I wanted. However, I also like sleeping on my side so when I moved to my side this affected the contouring of the mask to my face and I could see external light. I tried to reposition the mask and also adjusted the straps but it didn’t make much difference. I also found when I slept on my side in the morning I had lines on my face from where the mask had been sitting that remained for a few hours (not a great look). If you are a back sleeper though this is a great mask! (Posted on 8/21/18 )

Depends on your application

I have used a lot of other masks and I have had worse and better. I just find the sides to be a bit clunky when sleeping on my side on a pillow but it would be good when sleeping on your back or upright on a flight. happy with purchase

PROS: Seems to assist me in getting to sleep. Completely blocks outside light. Comfortable and stays in place.
CONS: Requires focusing eyes on an object immediately in front which can be straining.
TIPS: Use light from mobile phone to activate glow strips.
NOTES: I was thinking these are blue lights? but they are yellow/white.
I wish it had come with more information about the ideas behind it, and best ways to use i.e. staring at different levels (Posted on 4/28/15 )

Great fit

I bought this along with an expensive "standard" sleeping mask, thinking that this one would be more for long international flights and no good for sleeping in bed. After being unable to wear the other mask due tits poor design, I tried this in bed and was surprised to find that it was extremely comfortable.
Although some may see the glow strips as "gimmicky", the science behind them is solid and seemed to work a bit, although not as well as I had hoped.
Regardless, this mask was effective as a general sleeping mask, and I would recommend this to anyone. (Posted on 3/22/15 )
