The filter is coated with Titanium Oxide, which reacts with UV rays to create ions that aggressively combine with other elements in the air, including bacteria and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs).
VOCs include harmful pollutants such as ammonia, formaldehyde, and other chemicals commonly released by building materials and household cleaners.
Once bound together, a chemical reaction takes place and the harmful pollutants are broken down into harmless carbon dioxide and water molecules, making the air cleaner and more purified.
