Designed exclusively for the Leone Pro ION626 compressor dehumidifier, this filter effectively transforms the unit into a true 2-in-1 appliance — removing excess moisture from the air while simultaneously capturing fine particles, allergens, and pollutants for cleaner, healthier indoor air.
This is an optional upgrade filter for the Ionmax Leone Pro ION626. The unit comes with a washable pre-filter as standard, which handles large particles such as dust and hair and requires only periodic cleaning. The HEPA H13 filter is an additional add-on that unlocks the Leone Pro's full air purification potential. Replace every 6 to 12 months for optimal performance.
The Ionmax ION626 Leone Pro HEPA H13 filter provides:
- HEPA H13 Filtration: Captures 99.97% of airborne particles as small as 0.3 microns, including fine dust, pollen, pet dander, mould spores, and microscopic allergens — delivering air purifier-grade performance alongside the unit's dehumidification function.
- Dual-Mode Operation: With the HEPA filter installed, the Leone Pro can be used as a standalone air purifier or as a combined dehumidifier and air purifier simultaneously, giving you full flexibility over how you manage your indoor environment.
- Enhanced Protection Alongside Ioniser & UV: Works in concert with the Leone Pro's built-in ioniser and UV lamp, which further reduce airborne microorganisms and pollutants — providing a more complete layer of air treatment beyond filtration alone.
Please note: When operating in dehumidifier mode with the HEPA H13 filter installed, the unit's moisture removal rate is approximately 20L/day (down from 25L/day without the filter). This is normal and is due to the additional airflow resistance of the HEPA media.
Installation and maintenance
Installing the HEPA H13 filter is quick and straightforward. Always switch off and unplug the Leone Pro before handling any filter components.
- Switch off and unplug the Ionmax Leone Pro ION626 before removing or installing the filter.
- Open the filter access panel and slide the HEPA H13 filter into the designated filter slot, ensuring it seats securely and flush against the housing before closing the panel.
- The HEPA H13 filter is not washable or reusable. Replace it every 6 to 12 months, or sooner if you notice reduced airflow, increased dust levels, or persistent odours. In dusty or high-use environments, more frequent replacement is recommended.
- The Leone Pro's standard washable pre-filter should be cleaned regularly by removing it and rinsing under water. Allow it to dry completely before reinstalling. This pre-filter does not require replacement and is separate from the HEPA H13 filter.
- When operating as a dehumidifier with the HEPA H13 filter fitted, maintain at least 30 cm of clearance around the unit's air inlets and outlets for optimal performance. If the unit has been tilted or moved, allow it to stand upright for at least 1 hour before switching on, as the compressor requires time to settle.
