Stay cool all night long with Bambi Cooltouch Active Cooling Mattress Protector. This remarkable product has an upper layer of new-age cooling Phase Change Material containing low heat-conducting natural MICA mineral fibres.

Bambi are so confident in the effectiveness and longevity of our Cooltouch Active Mattress Protector that it has a 10-year warranty.

The Cooltouch Active Mattress Protector has a waterproof membrane that is breathable and helps to protect your mattress.

With a deep fitted skirt the Cooltouch Active Mattress Protector will always be an excellent fit. The Cooltouch Active Mattress Protector is machine washable on a gentle cycle and can be tumble dried on a low setting.

It has a 40cm fitted skirt, which will stretch to approximately 55cm.

Unlike many cooling products on the market, this product is not gel infused, rather the PCM (phase change material) is woven into the fabric, meaning the fabric stays cool to the touch, regardless of how many times it is used, or laundered.

The technology behind the product is impressive: when the encapsulated PCM microcapsules woven into the fibre are heated to melting point, they absorb heat energy as they change from a solid state to a liquid state, which in turn produces a very noticeable cooling effect to take place.

Also comes in a convenient Long Single size suitable for modern Split King Beds.

Fitted sheet does not stay on over this mattress protector

The mattress protector is so shiny and slippery on top that the fitted sheet won't stay on it. I wake up every morning having to put the fitted sheet back on. Disappointed that the company selling these hasn't tried and tested this product and sorted out this issue. I would not recommend buying this product. (Posted on 5/22/24 )

Best mattress protector I've ever had

I have a pre-teen who is incontinent with a man-sized bladder but the control of a 6 month old. He pees through everything and I've used layers of mattress protectors before. At one point I had 3 on the bed and he still wet through. This one is without a doubt the greatest one we've ever owned. He can't wet through it. He's never managed. Add to that the temperature control and the fact that it helps on those hot nights, it really is so cooling and comfortable. It is the very very best one we've ever had and I've got 2 now so we always have one and I've bought them for family too because they're just that good. I honestly will rave about them. Like sleeping on a plastic bag

It does feel cool to the touch, yes, can't argue with that. BUT if I had known it was like placing a plastic bag directly under my sheets I would never have bought it. I can't sleep on it, it's horrible. Cool or not, I'd infinitely prefer the feeling of natural fabrics and materials beneath me. To anybody reading this, ask to see it in a shop first, place your hand in a sheet and move it across the surface. Now apply that feeling to your whole body. No thank you. What a waste of money. Noticeably cooler from the first night

We bought this as my partner is a hot sleeper. We needed a mattress protector anyway and we were talked into one of these. We do not regret it at all. yes, it is more expensive, and yes the sheets feel slippery on top of it, but it prevented us from a sweaty sleep, despite having a full doona on in the middle of summer.

It is not a cool-pack, but it does help keep the heat at a more bearable level. It does not have the same 'rustle' noise that some other waterproof mattress protectors have either. (Posted on 1/5/21 )

Good but expensive

OK, so this won't make your bed turn icy cold. But it will stop from heat accumulating in one spot and turning it into a furnace. Basically it spreads the heat out so that it dissipates more efficiently. I give it 4 stars because it's quite expensive. But if you're a hot sleeper and notice that your mattress is trapping the heat of your body and making you feel too hot, it may be worth a shot. (Posted on 12/18/20 )

It helps but it's not a miracle

Ordering and delivery was easy and quick. It does take a couple of nights to get used to the feel and the sheets slipping is easily remedied by using good quality fitted sheets, some movement is nice. There is a cooling effect but it's not a miracle cure. I am always cold and hubby is a hot hot hot sleeper so for me its great and he is still sleeping half naked most nights. Not so happy

Feels beautiful and cool to touch, however my sheets slip all over the place.
I can't stand messy, untucked sheets, but I also don't want to completely re-make my bed every.single.day.
Bought my MIL the same one and she is complaining of same issue.

Really works
