With daylight saving ending you might think that you are going to get another hours sleep. However experts say that is not necessarily the case as our internal body clock will wake us up at the usual time. They suggest that we need to reset our body clock which is not as easy as just reseting our clocks on the wall. They suggest, particularly for children, that you gradually adjust your go to sleep time in 10-15min increments and get exposure to sunlight from 6-9am to assist in resetting the body clock. Sunlight has the effect of suppressing the sleep hormone melatonin and reducing melatonin levels - which means it is more likely to rise in the evening when we need it.

Nifty little device that has helped me get off to sleep & block out other house & street noise. I love the thunderstorms sound. Quite compact & lightweight so I hope to take it travelling. Lots of different sound options which is great. Has rain sounds which I love but it they're more like a trickle sound rather than rain per se. Just an observation!
