Queen size, electric blanket- Dreamaker 100% Cotton Quilted Electric Blanket Recently purchased- speedy delivery This is a very comfortable electric blanket- deep stretchy skirting and a generously plumped cotton quilt cover. The electrical connection is placed at the top of the blanket, and is therefore on top of the pillow area - no more bumps on the side. Blanket controls are well designed and easy to use. Very happy with my purchase.

I purchased the Wireless Bluetooth Headband. Frustrating from first use fiddling around with the control panel and the cabled buds inside the band. After just a few uses the control unit wouldn't charge as advertised (inside the band). Troubleshooting suggested removing from the band, did this but still would not charge. Contacted sleep solutions, sent them a short video of the charging error lights. Despite the product being less than 2 months old they sent me a pre-paid consignment note, to send the control panel & charging pad back to them - I was instructed to include a detailed explanation of the problem and of course my contact details. They would investigate and come back to me. I was also to ensure the product was packaged in a manner to prevent damage. What they should have done, given the age of the product is apologise and sent me a replacement. Unit is useless, I'll throw it out.

Why is Alpaca better than Wool?
Alpaca fleece is a semi-hollow fiber, whereas sheep’s wool is solid. This hollow structure traps more air, making alpaca significantly warmer than wool by weight, and also lighter. Additionally, alpaca fleece has a smoother scale structure, making it softer to the touch (less "prickly") and it contains no lanolin, making it naturally hypoallergenic and easier to clean.
What is the difference between the Gold and Classic collections?
- Gold Collection: This is the premium tier. It typically uses 100% pure Alpaca fleece (often a blend of Suri and Huacaya breeds) for the ultimate in softness, drape, and warmth. It is encased in a super-fine cotton sateen cover.
- Classic Collection: This is the entry-to-mid tier. It usually features a blend of Alpaca and Sheep’s Wool (e.g., 60% Alpaca / 40% Wool). This blend offers many of the benefits of alpaca (loft and warmth) but at a more accessible price point due to the inclusion of wool.
What is the "Alpaca Bamboo" quilt?
This is one of Kelly & Windsor’s most successful innovations. It blends alpaca fleece with bamboo fiber. The result is a quilt that is incredibly breathable and moisture-wicking (thanks to the bamboo) while still being warm (thanks to the alpaca). It has excellent drape and is often recommended for hot sleepers or climates with variable temperatures.
Are Kelly & Windsor quilts machine washable?
Generally, no. Pure alpaca and high-content alpaca blends are delicate natural fibers that can felt (shrink and harden) if agitated in water. most Kelly & Windsor quilts are Dry Clean Only (P). However, some of their specific blended ranges (like the Alpaca Bamboo) may have different care instructions, so it is vital to check the label on your specific product.
Do they make pillows?
Yes. Kelly & Windsor manufactures a range of luxury pillows filled with alpaca and wool blends. These pillows are unique because they are often adjustable (featuring a zipper to add/remove fill) or come in different profiles (Soft, Medium, Firm).
