Japara cotton fabric is a natural product which is made of quality cotton impregnated with a paraffin-based wax, and it is then finely woven into a very durable cloth with a thick texture plus a silky feel and look. It is also found to be less susceptible to liquids and other staining elements.

What are the main benefits of Japara cotton?
Although Japara cotton with a thick and finely woven texture is much more expensive than regular cotton fabric, it is still definitely a very good investment for quality bedding products. Unlike regular cotton that is much thinner, Japara cotton fabric can prevent the feathers or wool fibres from protruding through the duvet casing and pillow shell. Better still, it is hard-wearing and it does not pill.
Japara cotton is a natural fabric that is highly durable, breathable and comfortable. Like normal cotton, it is a healthy choice for quilt casings or pillow shells as it allows moisture from the body to pass through and eliminates that clammy feeling, thus giving you a more restful night's sleep.
