How It Works

The air to be processed is suctioned via a filter into the cabinet by a centrifugal fan. The pressured air mainly passes through a zeolite desiccant rotor to leave moisture on it and becomes dry air flowing out through the main outlet.
A motor slowly drives the rotor to pass through a heater-collector portion where the moisture on the rotor will be evaporated out to the wet air outlet, and the rotor is regenerated for later moisture absorption.
The wet air is a small part of the pressured air that passes the heater to be heated up and then passes the rotor to bring moisture out. Designed for cooler Australian climates, the ED12 continues to perform efficiently even at temperatures as low as -15°C, where compressor dehumidifiers struggle.

The IONMAX app is a smart device management app that lets you control and manage your intelligent home products with ease. Download the app through Google Play or the App Store to take charge of your indoor air quality from anywhere.
Monitor and adjust your dehumidifier settings remotely via your mobile phone. Below are the information and settings you can see on the app:
- Ambient temperature display
- Ambient humidity display
- Fan speed selection (Low, High, Auto)
- Run schedule
- Humidity setting (30 to 80% RH)
- Auto-off timer
Make sure your phone is connected to your 2.4G Wi-Fi network and the dehumidifier is close to your router for a strong Wi-Fi signal. There are two methods of pairing - EZ and AP mode. Please refer to the user manual for pairing instructions.

Easily view and set your desired humidity levels from the included 5m wired Wi-Fi controller with digital display. The long cord allows the dehumidifier to be installed in hard-to-reach areas like basements, attics, or crawl spaces, while still giving you convenient control from more accessible locations like your living room or kitchen.
The remote also features a built-in humidistat, so you can monitor and maintain optimal humidity levels without the need for a separate device or additional installation.
Compatible with optional HEPA H11 Filter
The Ionmax+ ED12 Dehumidifier comes with a washable antibacterial pre-filter by default, but you can also purchase the optional and compatible HEPA H11 ED12 filter to use with the dehumidifier for healthier, filtered air.
The pre-filter should be checked periodically (~every 2 months or less) and cleaned if necessary. Remove it from the dehumidifier, then clean with a vacuum cleaner or hand wash with water only.
ATTENTION: Do not run the dehumidifier without the pre-filter fitted as dust will impair the performance of the rotor.

Cleaning and Maintenance
The dehumidifier is designed for continuous use over a long period with minimal supervision. Under normal operating conditions, maintenance requirements are minimal. The service depends mainly on the operational conditions and working environment.
Cleaning
1. Disconnect from the power supply before cleaning or servicing the unit or any of its components.
2. Wipe thoroughly clean with a moist cloth (a soft, damp cloth) and a mild household detergent. DO NOT clean any parts of the dehumidifier by spraying it or immersing it in water. DO NOT use any chemicals, petrol, aggressive detergents or other cleansing solutions when cleaning the dehumidifier.
