Two pillow speakers mean that as you roll from sleeping on one side/ear to the other - you do not need to the shift pillow speaker. There is one to position directly under each ear on each side of the pillow!

NB: The Sound Oasis Sleep Therapy Pillow Speakers with Volume Control is only suitable for devices that have stereo output. However, it is compatible if you buy our Mono to Stereo Jack Adaptor 3.5 mm.

Pillow Speaker Volume Levels

Pillow Speakers by design only have a limited volume range. This is so they don't disturb your partner sleeping next to you and due to the proximity to your ears when lying on your pillow. Note that when using a memory foam or latex pillow the density of the pillows will greatly reduce the volume of the pillow speaker.

We recommend using an amplified pillow speaker if using a latex or memory foam pillow. As everyone's hearing ability is different pillow speakers may not work well for all people.

Bad Sound Quality

The cord is nice and long and the speakers aren't too big, although you can feel them through your pillow - even latex or memory foam. The worst part, though, is the sound quality. It's muffled just holding the speakers in your hand, but once in the pillowcase, you can hardly hear it without turning it up really loud, in which case others can hear it too.

I’m really liking it so far

Since the start of the pandemic, I’ve even having difficulty falling asleep or getting a full night’s rest. I am a side sleeper so those sleep buds and speaker headbands just didn’t feel comfortable for me. These speaker pillows though worked so well. I listen to rain sounds and it pretty much knocks me out completely. My partner doesn’t hear the sounds, which is good because he has his own white noise going on. Lol. Much better than the headband I had been using

Sure work for me

While the speakers work well in the pillow if you sleep on your side, because I sleep on my back, I use both speakers near, but outside, the right side of my pillow. I tuck the speaker-to-speaker cord in my pillow to locate them so they won't move. My wife sleeps on my left and she says she can't hear them. I use rain sounds or sleep sounds playing all night at a just-audible sound level. I find this very relaxing. I have been able to get past that "lying awake for hours in the middle of the night" phase. Once awake I usually fall back to sleep within 10-20 minutes. They sure suit me. (Posted on 2/26/20 )

Great sound and no more sore ears for me!

I'd never heard of under-pillow speakers when a friend recommended them to me. I researched fairly carefully and bought this brand. I have not been disappointed. I no longer have to wear ear-phones and can move freely on my pillow; the two speakers provide sound which ever way I turn. I use them for calming, go-to-sleep sounds and music, as well as listening to my talking book when insomnia strikes. My very light-sleeping husband has not been disturbed by any sounds coming from under my pillow although we also have a fan going in our room which gives extra background noise. Everything worked as it should, product slid easily into pillow case but because I am a little deaf my husband said he could still hear the music. Good Pillow Speakers

I have the Pillowsonic pillow speakers but need a second set. The Sound Oasis Sleep Therapy Pillow Speakers are far better than the Pillowsonic speakers. This is my second set of these speakers. My first set lasted 3 years before the wiring must have become loose somewhere. The volume control is good and you can't feel the speakers through your pillow. They are speakers. They work.

They do what they should do. Nothing exciting here, but functional.

Dissappointing

Promoted as stereo but it doesn't work. Can only use one speaker at a time. Sound does not penetrate thru pillow when ear is placed directly over speaker. Very poor.

Worlds best pillow speakers

The loudness on the speakers is really great, I will never need to have them at full volume when placed under a decent pillow. Very good.
The volume control is excellent, no more clicking sounds to wake my hubby up when I need to change the volume during the night either.
