Easy to order quick delivery and very happy with product.
Item deliverd fast
Excellent product, excellent customer service and very fast delivery. I will say, however, that I find the headhand too hot at the moment. This can't really be helped. But if you tend to run hot or get hot flushes, consider this.
We couldn't believe how fast the electric blankets got here from Sydney. Just 3 days by Australia post to Toowoomba. The products have all the features we wanted as well.
They were very helpful when placing an NDIS order and fast.
Found the website easy to use and order what I needed Delivery was very quick Will be ordering again
Was very keen to try this but so hard to as hubby not like it. Tried with earplugs but the cable was annoying
Have been travelling with the pillow and highly recommend
Kelly & Windsor is widely considered Australia’s leading manufacturer of high-end natural bedding, specializing almost exclusively in alpaca and wool products. Founded in 2001, the brand set out to fill a gap in the luxury market by utilizing the unique thermal properties of Australian alpaca fleece, which is lighter, warmer, and softer than traditional sheep’s wool. Based in Melbourne, Kelly & Windsor is a proud licensee of the "Australian Made" campaign, with every quilt, pillow, and underblanket crafted locally in their specialized facility.
The brand is best known for its innovation in fiber blending, creating world-first combinations such as the Alpaca Bamboo and Alpaca Gold collections. These products offer a distinctive "sleeping on a cloud" experience, providing exceptional warmth without weight, making them a favorite among luxury hotels and discerning homeowners who find standard wool quilts too heavy or stiff.
Kelly & Windsor’s mission is to design and manufacture the "world’s finest bedding" using Australia’s premier natural fibers. Their vision is to redefine the perception of natural bedding from "heavy and scratchy" to "light, soft, and luxurious." Innovation is the cornerstone of their success, particularly their proprietary UltraSoft quilting design. Unlike traditional diamond quilting which compresses the filling, Kelly & Windsor uses a specialized internal stitching pattern that secures the fiber while allowing it to loft (fluff up) to its maximum potential.
Furthermore, they pioneered the Carbonizing and combing process for alpaca fleece, ensuring that their filling is completely free of vegetable matter and odorless, solving the quality consistency issues that plagued early alpaca products.
Sleep Solutions is NDIS Registered and Approved
Alpaca fleece is a semi-hollow fiber, whereas sheep’s wool is solid. This hollow structure traps more air, making alpaca significantly warmer than wool by weight, and also lighter. Additionally, alpaca fleece has a smoother scale structure, making it softer to the touch (less "prickly") and it contains no lanolin, making it naturally hypoallergenic and easier to clean.
This is one of Kelly & Windsor’s most successful innovations. It blends alpaca fleece with bamboo fiber. The result is a quilt that is incredibly breathable and moisture-wicking (thanks to the bamboo) while still being warm (thanks to the alpaca). It has excellent drape and is often recommended for hot sleepers or climates with variable temperatures.
Generally, no. Pure alpaca and high-content alpaca blends are delicate natural fibers that can felt (shrink and harden) if agitated in water. most Kelly & Windsor quilts are Dry Clean Only (P). However, some of their specific blended ranges (like the Alpaca Bamboo) may have different care instructions, so it is vital to check the label on your specific product.
Yes. Kelly & Windsor manufactures a range of luxury pillows filled with alpaca and wool blends. These pillows are unique because they are often adjustable (featuring a zipper to add/remove fill) or come in different profiles (Soft, Medium, Firm). They offer a cooler, more breathable alternative to synthetic or memory foam pillows.
